About TurtleBlock AI

TurtleBlock AI is a public educational research and development project exploring how constructivist AI agents can help learners turn ideas into computational worlds, inhabit those worlds, notice what happens, and revise what they made.

This is a functional playground for building the ship while flying the ship.

Where it comes from

The project grows from Dr. Bryan P. Sanders’ work as a credentialed educator, school builder, doctoral researcher, and educational technologist. It extends ideas developed through Critical Techno Constructivism, STEAMHAMLET, Minecraft as a learning environment, purposeful play, and co-active emergence.

TurtleBlock AI is part of the ongoing educational work of RE/EDUCATION and is being developed in public so the ideas, code, language, mistakes, revisions, and emerging tools can all remain visible.

Not a world vending machine

The goal is not to turn a learner’s sentence into a finished Minecraft build and call that learning. TurtleBlock AI is intended to help learners externalize ideas, represent them, test them, reflect on them, and reconstruct them. The learner remains the designer and producer.

Public trail

@nayrbgo is the long-running public identity of Dr. Bryan P. Sanders across decades of online work. TurtleBlock AI intentionally keeps that continuity visible.
